Brazil eager to expand Joint ventures with Iran
February 5, IFIF public relation- Brazilian Ambassador to Tehran Rodrigo de Azeredo Santos expressed his country`s willingness to boost trade cooperation with Iran.
In meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Azerdo called for closer relation with Iran in different fields especially in energy, oil, gas, and petrochemicals. He also said that his country consider Iran as a reliable partner in the region.
Zarif underlined the benefits of cooperation with Iran including skilled human recourse, energy and reasonable prices and said that Iran is a good partner for Brazil.
In relevant remarks in late November, Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia and Brazilian Minister of Industry and Commerce Marcos Pereira in a meeting in Brasilia called for expanding bilateral ties in various fields, especially economic and trade areas.
During the meeting in the Brazilian capital, Tayyebnia and Pereira explored the grounds for fostering and resuming mutual cooperation.
Iran`s minister underlined that Brazil enjoys high potentials in agriculture and animal products and expressed the importance of bolstering trade ties with south American countries in these fields as well as industry.
Tayyebnia also pointed out that Iran has various potentials in exports of gas, oil derivatives, petrochemicals and handicrafts which can help increase level of economic relation between the two countries.
